Live Caterpillar to Butterfly Kit

CAUTION: If you are scared of creep crawlies, do stop reading.. Lots of pictures on real live caterpillar below..

My friend organised a spree on Live Caterpillar to Butterfly Kit from ButterflyLodge in Singapore. Woah all the kiasu moms like me jumped in to place an order.. keke.. she had some 115 kits deliver to her home.. meaning 230 caterpillars!! YUCKS.. I would have faint if i were her.. so, for SGD2.00, we get as below. It even came with just enough leave to feed them..

each kit comes with 2 caterpillars in a netted box. In the box, there is a satay stick for them to crawl/hang from later:

eating and pooing at the same time and later they grow so fat and juicy *YIKES*:
one of it start to climb the satay stick and stuck there and form a letter J:
pupated and the head falls off when the pupation completes *EWW*:
another one pupated on the lid.. close up look.. *EWWWWWWWWWWWWW*.. my bulu roma all stand up man.. SUPER GROSS:

BUT, in front of ken and wenn, must act no geli-fied by these caterpillars.. what have i got myself into?!?.. let's hope they will turn into butterflies.. I bought 2 kits, ie 4 caterpillars.. only 3 pupated.. 1 is rotting.. gross.. gross.. GROSS

Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3 from Sky Train

Took this pic when I'm in the Sky Train. It was hard because the Sky Train is not exactly a smooth ride.. heh.. we like to go Changi Airport Terminal 3 to hang around.. it's spacious and air conditioned.. heh

Wenn is able to undress and dress himself now.. a newly acquired skill.. he's able take out his tees and shorts and put them on.. he can't button yet.. he can also wear his own shoes.. can't managed to wear socks yet.. he loves sweetssssssssss.. he reminded me of myself when i'm small.. i ate a lot and love sweets too.. for ken, he can just eat one a day.. for wenn, he will eat until no more sweets left!.. Wenn loves train a lot.. Wenn is toilet trained some time back.. when he has no accident in the day time, i let him go diaperless at night.. wah, he wet the matress once every night.. by day five, i'm groggy and mad, so i gave him a big smack.. thereafter, he din't pee in his bed any more.. that was 2y7m.. these days, he's refusing to use stool to pee in the toilet bowl.. he's tip toeing.. he's imitating ken a lot.. so, wenn is able to brush his own teeth too.. wanting to put toothpaste by himself and brushing himself.. even showering himself now, just like ken.. bliss.. beauty of having an older bro, i guess.. heh..

Wenn's 3rd Birthday

Time seriously fly by.. my baby is now 3.. i still feel he's such a baby, but he's 3.. i didn't bake a cake for him.. tak larat.. so tired.. Wenn is now in the questioning phase.. he's forever asking, "what is this?".. "what is this?".. his pronounciation is not accurate at all.. still very babyish sound.. his hero must be ken.. when we asked Wenn, "What is your name?".. he said, "Low Ta Ken".. pengz.. and Wenn will say "June 12th" as his birthday!! alamak.. that is ken's birthday.. heh.. poor #2.. no identity? keke.. but we are correcting him.. and now he sometimes will say his name correctly and sometimes will still say Ken's name as his.. the below picture is how Wenn looks like at 3 years old, the card with red drawing was done by Ken to wenn.. and 2nd pic is how ken and wenn looks like

Ken's K1 class had an event called "Cultural Fiesta - Those were the days" in his school today. Kids were asked to wear ethnic costume. I took leave to help out his teachers in school. While Ken changed, Wenn wanted too. So I took some pictures. Wenn cried for so long when we left for school and left him at home. Poor Wenn. The 2nd pic is the fiesta photo taking.
