Uranium reaches $135 (US$ per pound), yet another all-time record high. And? Nobody seems to have noticed. Couldn't even find a news source that has reported on this development.
In Nov-Dec 2000, one pound of U3O8, uranium ore, was going for $7.10. If you're reaching for your calculator now, don't bother. I've worked it out. It's a gain of 1801.41% since 27 Nov 2000, for an annualized growth rate of a staggering 56.88% per annum.
Tell me if you know of any other investment that has given gains of over 56% per year, every year, for 6-7 years running, and practically nobody gives a damn. Incredible, isn't it?
