"Peak-oil aware"

Looks like the word is spreading. Just found out that my boss is also "peak-oil aware" - sorta. Had a short discussion around lunch-time, no thanks to the *other* colleague who's been going around telling the folks here that Mr Lowem is "our peak oil guy" .. :)

It's going to be interesting to see how smart, well-informed folks, the technorati if you like, take to this concept. Of course they will be weighing both the views of the cornucopians versus that of the peakoilers, but if there is one good thing about $70 oil, it's that it is really starting to get people's attention.

But what's next after awareness? We'll have to see about that.
