How time flies. A whole week has gone by since the Earth Day 2009 post, and not a new blog posting in sight. Haven't had much of a break since the CSEP (Certified Systems Engineering Professional) exam held by IES which was like 1.5 weeks back, and after that I was roped in to help out in a, well, let's just call it a certain small-to-mid sized project tender for the Singapore government. Some people might look at a 7-digit project as small, while others might look at it as medium-sized. The place where I used to work at regularly deals with 8-digit stuff and higher, and *their* jet fighter department goes into 11- or 12- digits so it's probably just a matter of perspective. So what am I doing spec'ing out hardware and software for a *government* project? My job scope does include project solutioning and helping out with the technical aspects for both military *and* commercial projects so there you are. Anyway. Now that the recent crazy rush is over, I'm taking what you might call a "super-long weekend" spanning today, tomorrow, Labour day, and the regular weekend. Now that ought to be something. So. Apologies for the break in the posting flow. Regular blogging shall resume shortly. (2009-04-29 11:22:25 SGT)
