24-hour DNS propagation and MySQL issues

Apologies for the recent outage of this blog as well as the live quotes, live gold and other sections of the site. My hosting provider moved the server to another IP address and the DNS propagation took the usual 24 hours or thereabouts for the new domain name - to - IP address mapping to spread out to the rest of the Internet.

There was also a MySQL connection problem which was either an initial firewall configuration or some kind of startup issue during the server move. It's all fixed up now. Regular blogging shall resume shortly.
