Red-Eared Slider Terrapins.. introducing fatty and scarey..
Bought new terrapins for ken and wenn.. our previous jojo and gigi had died.. think due to our careless care.. this time we spent some money to buy the pets an aquarium, as well as a basking area.. hopefully they are able to live longer..
One named "Fatty" because it eat and eat.. and whenever I come home, it always plead me for food by following me in his tank..
The other is "Scarey" because it is always hiding when we are around..
| closer up of their tank setup.. the lamp is a UVB lamp.. |

Alamak! Don't let L see this. She wants a tortoise because of the book Esio Trot. Kept reading that book and Fantastic Mr. Fox.

Sue, I too thought they were tortoise.. from what i read, tortoise is live on land one, those on water are turtle.
Marie, don't worry.. now all the pet shops do not have stock for terrapins.. I think got season one.

Take good care of the Terrapins. They grow real fast. Soon u might find your tank too small for them. Also, observe hygience after touching them. Wash hands immediately. They are good carrier of Salmonella bacteria. :p

Now then I realised. The drawing of the turtle by Ken? It is very nice!

lynn, I drew one.. Wenn coloured.. Ken refused to draw for wenn to color. If they grow very big, I will give to my sis. She has a mini pond at home. *envy*
