Pooh Friendship Day - Hugging Buddies by McD..

long time ago, i forgot when, must be those pat-tor (courtship) days without children and having lotsa time to ourselves, EM and I collected these:

the rabbit is missing from the pic cos it's too "hairy".. afraid that it will trigger whatever sensitivity in ken (though now he does not display any)..

these days, ken show such affection towards soft cuddly toys.. he has never shown any towards the fury frens until now.. when i read abt sleep training, etc, most will recommend to give a security object for the child.. i intro anything possible -- bolster, blanket, hanky, nappy, small soft toy.. he simply refused any then.. he never even want to touch them.. haiz.. so tough then.. but now that he's 2 and the half yr old.. suddenly such affection?! wherever he go ard the hse, he must collect all his soft toys and bring them.. if my mom hide one, he will know one is missing and go all over the place to look for it.. very cute!..

and so, like all "filial parents" we open up our long-kept "treasure" and let ken play with them.. hmm.. shd hv bot an extra set then to keep, rite?.. but we didn't.. so there goes my "collection".. actually it was EM's collection.. cos i NEVER hv any tendency to "collect" anything.. i do not like to commit myself to collections.. and worst, i never like soft toys!.. i humored EM then since he like to collect things in sets.. hmm.. i absolutely hate any dust-collecting items.. probably due to the fact that i'm the one who hv to do the cleaning when i'm younger.. try to do cleaning every week!.. bring down all items, wipe and put them back! each time i clean, i swear to myself, when i grow up and hv a place of my own, i will not hv any dust-collectors!.. and thus my hse is as bare as possible.. heh.. so un-homey, i know.. but say no to dust!
