of beauty and courage..

i think i never had so many girl colleagues in all my working life.. always remembered i'm surrounded by guys.. but for my current company, we have more girls.. and gen Y girls they are (meaning more than 6 years younger).. and all they talked about were about personal beauty regime - facial, mani, pedi, spa, etc.. one day, we discussed abt swimming costume and they told me, these days, nobody buy 1 piece swim wear anymore.. and as though on some cue, that exact evening, i passed by the Compasspoint atrium selling bikinis.. so, i bought one.. *gulp*.. will i have the courage for this?

and, they think i'm "queen".. mabbe the suaku-est girl on earth, when i said, "i have never done a facial in my life before".. heh.. i macam so deprived ya?.. my daily beauty regime is just washing my face twice a day with Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil Facial Wash.. i didn't even bother with Toner and Moisturiser.. *bleh*.. actually i hate people touching my skin.. i've sensitive skin.. i have eczema all my life.. i hate shaking hands with people as i will imagine all kinds of germ passed thru my broken or chapped skin on my fingers.. hence, i hate CNY.. i hate shaking hands on interviews.. shaking hands when introducing to people, etc.. normally, i will try to avoid shaking hands.. heh.. and, i am very wary of any chemical passing on my skin.. so, no.. i dun think i'm deprived at all not having done facial, not having gone for manicure or pedicure.. esp my ugly fingernails.. they are uneven due to my eczema.. *yucks*.. so, no way will i color it to make it more obvious..
