nikon d40 warantee..

i got my d40 from a fren's boss's fren whom claim he got the camera from lucky draw.. hence the low price.. and i felt chuat chuat when i see that the warantee requires receipt!!.. only today i remembered to bring my serial no to office to call and ask.. i lied that i lost my receipt and if my camera will still be under warantee.. she said, if no receipt, they will honor based on shipping date.. date out from warehouse.. and guess what.. the shipping date was 22 Feb 2008!.. *yay*..that means 1 year warantee.. ok.. *phew*.. ke ke ke.. ohh, and she asked.. you just bought and you lost the receipt.. :P.. so moral of the story.. do not lie.. ke ke.. anyway, i further fibbed that oh not mine, my friend's.. the beauty of phone call!! no one can see me squirm or blush!.. how good a liar are you?

calories and diet..

ke ke ke.. now that got your attention dun ya? i'm expecting frens who know me screaming at me saying, "arrgghh, you don't need to worry abt diet..".. true true.. i've not worry abt my diet until recently.. there was this discussion on m4m, the parenting board which i frequent and they were discussing on calories.. so, they gave this gov.sg link.. http://www.hpb.gov.sg .. so i went to check my food intake assessment or something.. to see how much calories i consume a day.. now i can't freaking remember how much calories.. i just still can't be bother with calories i guess, but what the site assessment of me was.. i can still see those wordings as though highlighted in BOLD.. "your diet lack calcium".. (ok, mabbe not the exact words but something to that effect).. alamak!!

so, told the person who prepares my breakfast aka EM that from then on prepare milk for me for breakfast.. i dun take milk one lor.. milk and i dun agree.. i do not know how i survived as a baby.. but what i do know from experience, milk and i don't agree.. so my beverages have always been, kopi-o, teh-o, milo-o.. but i thought, calsium is now more important.. so i brave today's breakfast with a 3/4 cup of milk.. and guess what.. i am now the toilet bowl's best friend!.. LS once at home.. now another time at work.. sigh.. mabbe i shd resort to popping tablets instead?

but but but.. i hate swallowing big pills.. i can drink one whole cup of water and that stupid panadol pill still stuck on my tongue!!.. but later i also know why i can never swallow panadol pill easily.. i think my body subconsciously know i'm allergic to it!.. for the longest time i hv difficulties with panadol.. then when i started work long long time ago at age 26, i had a fever.. so, i swallowed my panadol with difficulties.. then took a bus home to the panel clinic.. when the doctor saw me, i had broken to rashes then.. my mom used to tell me rashes are hong mok.. good.. dispel poison.. now i know it's crapped.. the doctor said it's allegic breakout.. *sigh*.. so, then i know why i can never swallow panadol easily at a ripe old age of 26.. anyway, i digress..

i think after work today, i will drop by guardian/watson's/GNC to look for my calcium tablet.. do you have any brand to recommend?.. preferably small size pills.. why do pharmaceutical companies make such big tablet?!? arrghh..

DSLR Nikon D40..

you know you're suffering from mid life crisis, when all you think abt is how to spend money!.. so, i feel empty in my life.. and what to do, need something to occupy the mind.. and i went to get an entry level DSLR.. a Nikon D40 for S$550 and then to find out a new model D60 has just been released.. ah well.. but D60 is rumored to be ard double the price i paid for my D40.. so, i'm still happy abt my purchase.. :P

squint eyes..

Have I mentioned that I brought ken to check his eyes in polyclinic and the nurse "failed" his eye test.. the first test was 6/9 and 6/12.. 4mths later his sight was 6/9 and 6/18!!.. it was due to his 1st test that we bought the lcd tv as well as a 3M polariser table lamp.. in the hope that his sight will not deteriorate.. but the results were not good.. Hence, we were referred to KKH eye center.. that was last mth.. and the optometrist said he has 6/6 eye sight on both eyes.. so, we thought can be relieved right?.. no.. the optometrist then said that he left eye seems to have squint.. in lay man terms i think it is crossed eye.. anyway, so, tomorrow we will go for another checkup to confirm if he has a squint.. after last mth checkup, i tell u.. i looked back at all ken's old photo and i see his eyes crossed.. not sure if it's subconscious or something!.. sigh.. let's hope tomorrow's checkup will shed some light.. ohh and squint is genetic.. so it's not due to bad habit or something.. cos obviously first thing a mommy always does is to blame herself.. it must be i have let him watch too much tv.. etc.. anyway, it's genetic.. so it's less guilty i guess.. cos i obviously can't control defect on my genes or EM's genes right?.. here are his recent photos.. macam squint eye?
