new fancies.. signs of getting old?

the in thing is now digital photo frame?.. some photo frame that allows you to showcase your best digital photos on the 7 or whatever inch LCD display screen.. You can view your digital pictures statically or as an automatic slide show.. and I pulak so backward.. here's presenting my photo wall!!.. i made EM drill the wall "holder" from Ikea for me.. 4 pieces of them.. then i bought frames from Ikea too..

my memory of both my grandma's house was the wall where they put lots of photos.. one row across.. of course i bet it was nailed by my dad the handiman who anyhow whacked.. keke.. he had a particular habit.. on the back of all the photo frames, my dad's hand writing of the date will be writen across the wood of the frame.. my dad's handwriting was very unique.. but u see, he does not have sense of orderliness.. so to him as long nailed and hanged, his job was done.. he didn't look at the estactic values and what nots.. so photo frames anyhow sequenced and big and small and anyhow.. but still as a young child, i spend a long time gazing at the photos.. i always wonder who are they.. or why they look so different from now, etc, etc.. partly also i'm a very quiet person *horror*.. but true.. in my family, i'm the quiet one cos all the others have potential of making more noises than me!.. i have a very noisy family.. all the guys and gals (cousins) like to talk and talk.. and, so, i tend to live in my own world when i'm around them for gathering.. and i find comfort in those photos on the wall.. hence, i always wanted a wall of photos.. i think i now have a wall of photos and 2 metal cabinets of photos!! keke..

oh.. now, I'm crazy about gardening as well.. keke.. of cos, it's easy to just instruct my maid to water the plants!.. so now, i expanding my teritory.. i bought 2 pots of Orchid, 2 pots of Citronelle (so called mosquito plant, getting rid of them that is) and one dunno what flower plant.. :P

this is how my "garden" look overall



so, from the furthest corner i have this (see pic below).. the one beside orchids, i did a digiLO: garden of mine .. they are actually some kangkung and timun, planted by ken.. heh.. more like i got him to dig and put in the seeds.. the criss cross "thing" you readers can see was hand tied by me for the timun to creep later on.. but at the rate these vege are growing.. sigh.. 2 week already still like 3-4".. wonder when can harvest to eat.. as for the Orchids.. i think they won't survive long.. cos i'm using plastic pots!! from my memory, i don't recall anyone planting orchids in plastic pots!.. nevermind, try and see?



under them for now is these 2 pots.. the right is Citronelle.. very nice scent.. the left i dunno what is it name.. my sis gave them to me.. but i'm looking for a pot such that i can hang it somewhere.. when i managed to find the pot, i will show, ok?



then nearest to our house, my maid planted ginger and garlic.. so far, they are looking good..



lastly this is the dunno-what flower plant.. i'm hoping that it will continue to bloom.. heh

conclusion, my hse getting more luan.. inside and outside.. keke.. and wonder why i suddenly crazy abt plants.. i see this as a sign of old age.. :(
