finally!! my first sugarpaste experiment.. err, some of the roses look like "yat phet see" (one piece of shit).. hee.. it got later and later and i got sleepier.. *excuses*.. but sugarpaste is real fun!.. dun ask me what's the diff sugarpaste, gumpaste, fondant, marzipan and what nots.. i keep forgetting their difference.. and, to boost my ego, just say they look like flowers ok!.. heh..
anyway, these are for my sunday icing class.. this sunday, we are learning to ice basket weave.. and we will make a cake in the shape of a basket.. teacher asked us to bring some deco for the top.. can be fruits, flowers, etc.. so i thot, why not take this chance to make the roses in sugarpaste.. have to make in advance to dry it anyway.. verdict: fun! BUT, such a waste of time cos it can't be eaten.. or rather it will taste like eating dry clay.. *yucks*..

look at all these photos.. so nice!
