i remember myself hating "you tube".. and will never watch anything from there.. then i wavered and mabbe will watch selective items sent to me with you tube link.. but now.. i'm hooked!! I'm like a siao cha bo (crazy lady) chasing after this.. siao liao!!.. but the bestest part of it all.. some fan sub into english!!! *YAY* for Ms Banana like me.. most k-drama are dubbed into mandarin with chinese sub.. my hearing is horrible.. and they normally speak proper mandarin.. so, for pasar mandarin like mine i can barely understand 10%-20% of the conversation.. and i can't read.. so the subs aren't helpful.. but with english sub.. no matter how un-sync they are.. at least i can understand more!! *YAY*.. *YAY*..

my USM junior came to sg in search of a job.. so we met up and catch up.. 1 more year and he will be a Dr.. wow.. hehe.. a PhD doctor that is.. i think by now he shd be back in japan to finish his course.. very nice guy.. lucky Su Si to be his wife.. :P.. Su Si din't come.

and this is a pencil theme furniture set i bought for $50.. ain't they cute.. isn't it amazing that my work place is some ulu factory place and yet i can do shopping!! all these vendors come to my office and peddle their goods/wares.. and easily tempted me to willingly part with my money.. how can one not buy such cute stuff?.. gee.. i need to be cured.. :(

Chocolate Truffle Cake

my overzealous attempt to finish off my strawberries!.. one should practice wisdom rather than just to finish something for the sake of finishing.. heh.. i hate strawberries.. i managed to get a box of 10 strawberries for the price of $2.50.. cheap eh? every tuesday, thre's this fruit stall vendor who will come to our office and sell fruits.. how convenient.. and rather cheap too.. and i buy them for the very first time in my life cos it's essential in decorating a cake.. somehow red is outstanding.. it's like one need to add chilli stripes to garnish dishes.. anyway, since i can use the chance to use my strawberries, i hentam all in.. sigh.. too big and too ugly! shd hv put less.. heh.. also i kiam and dun feel like buying a can of peach just for decorating.. waste.. if it's a cake for someone's b'day, i will put in effort.. but this is to practice, to play play.. so anything goes.. anyway, my cake compare to my teacher's..

i posted to ask what major appliance shd i get some time back.. i still hv not decided.. BUT, BUT, BUT.. today, i'm going to get myself a Ice-cream Maker.. i dunno what's the model.. but it will be Kenwood's ice cream maker.. YUM.. thinking of it is enuf to form a pool of saliva on my keyboard right now.. *droolssssssss*.. but it's like too "cheap" to be a "MAJOR" appliance.. ke ke.. what kind of motivation is this to stay pumping!?!.. heh.. i figure, mabbe i get few appliances to form one "MAJOR" appliance!

the icecream maker will be ard S$66=3 can of FM.. i hv saved 52cans (supposedly a bb consume 1 can of FM per week).. okie, minus $300 for the pump and mabbe another $150 for bottles, milk bags, valves ($450=22 can).. so, i hv saved 52-22= 30 can.. i can still afford for other appliance to add up to be 27cans (27x$20=$540)!.. ke ke

actually i wanted a new oven.. BUT at the end, i know, it's not the oven but the "baker".. so, will be shelving my oven plan until my this oven really died on me.. then i will get a "bigger" oven, hopefully..

meantime, anyone got icecream recipe, share with me, ok?.. sorry to disappoint but u readers will not see any ice cream today, nor tomorrow.. cos, i will only get the maker tonight.. and i will need to freeze the bowl for 24 hrs before i can start churning my own ice cream!! what a torture to wait.. *sigh*
