This is a complete picture of my siblings plus my mom minus my dad.. think he was the "photographer".. OR, he may be busy at work.. my dad was always busy at his work.. he was a very hardworking man.. don't u readers think Wenn resembles me? i'm the bb in the photo, of cos!.. I'm the youngest..

issit last time color camera produce few tones of color ah? how come our clothes are like so color-coordinated? either the camera is only a few tones or my mom really color coordinate us!.. i wonder if my mom can remember?

EM said something like.. it's not the camera.. it's the film.. it's the chemical.. *mumbles*.. gosh, like that also he knows the answer.. :)

Some of Ken's development/behavior in no particular order

• He said his first sentence while pointing to his fire engine hat.. he paused as though thinking hard and said, "This is fire engine".. woah.. finally something that make proper sense! i'm so proud of him.. ke ke..
• when he sees mozilla firefox trying-to-load icon, he said, "spin round and round"
• when i read to him a book on wheels, he goes singing, "The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round. The wheels on the bus go round and round, all day long. (This is the ONLY song he can sing without us helping him)
• Finally he knows how to sing "Twinkle, twinkle little star" with our prompting here and there
• He knows the chinese song "ke(4) ren(2) lai(2)" with our prompting here and there
• very imaginatine.. he roars like a lion, crawl into the ikea rocking plastic thinghy and crawl ard saying "tortoise", and walk like a crab while holding on to a peg in each hand, walk like a penguin, hop like a frog while saying "ribbit ribbit hop hop" (part of a song in Signing Times).. can see from his photos..
• starting to ask where question.. "daddy, where is lion?".. asking for his lion stuff toy

what a big boy ken is now.. *sigh*.. children indeed grow too fast!

Recipe: Yoghurt

Recipe: Yoghurt

Ingredients:
500ml milk
1/4 cup sugar (optional)
2 tbsp yoghurt (buy from shelf, must have the word "live" culture or something.. keyword: "live"

Method:

1. Scald the milk as follows: Warm the milk over a medium fire. Stir so that bottom won't burn. Turn off fire when little bubbles form at the side of pot. Remove to cool.
2. Once cool to lukewarm, scoop 3-4 tbsp of the abv scalded milk into a cup/bowl, add 2 tbsp of yoghurt (1st time purchased from shelf, subsequent can use ur own yoghurt) and blend to homogenious.
3. Add the yogurt-milk slurry slowly to the scalded and lukewarm milk with stirring. Stir very well to thoroughly distribute the yogurt starter.
4. Cover and let it incubate by not touching for the next 6-10hrs. The longer, the sourer.
5. After incubation, can keep yoghurt chilled for the next 5 days.
