4D..

Think i hv not mentioned this.. so the story goes.. on Aug 14th, i gave birth to wenn.. as usual, i was closing my eyes tight tight during the process.. too chicken to look ard.. dun want to see the faces of my OB and midwife in case anything went wrong, u can see in their eyes.. and, i'm really a scary cat.. so, the only way to handle anything i can't handle is to close my eyes.. but the moment i hear wenn cries, i open my eyes.. and the first thing i saw.. nope, not Wenn, but is the digital clock on the wall!! and guess what time was it? 8:14! and, what came across my mind? to ask my mom to buy 4D!!.. cos it's so coincidence.. Aug 14th, 8:14pm..

so, when i was pushed to the ward, the first thing i did was to call my mom.. told her i hv delivered and told her the story above, and ask her to buy 0814.. BUT not on my behalf.. ask her to buy only.. come to think of it.. aiya! shd hv tumpang her!!.. the next day, Monday, first thing she did was.. nope, not frying ginger.. but to buy that number.. and on Wed, (4D here draw on Wed, Sat and Sun).. 0814 came out as Starter prize!! so my mom bot $2, won SGD500!! she was so overjoyed!!!!! aiyo.. so regret i din't tumpang her!.. but again, i hv never buy any 4D.. so, hmm..

and the story continues.. ytd, being Sep 14th shd be the real Wenn's 1st mth.. and ytd being Wed, my mom went to buy 0914 and 0814 (again).. but the first prize was.. 4180.. (reversed order)!!.. aiyo, my mom so upset.. she said, some more Wenn keeps on smiling at her ytd.. cos the other time, Wenn smiled at her too and she strike!.. anyway, that's it.. just a short story.. funny though.. in m'cca, my mom hardly buy 4D.. over here in sg, she no shy to Q and buy.. she said, in sg, a lot of aunties (young and old) buy, so she not paiseh (malu) to Q along.. heh.. hope it wun be an obssession for her.. she must be bored here.. so, deriving little joys from these activities.. anyway, she buy $1-$2 each.. so guess not too bad? i told her, i can buy her a piggy bank.. each time she feels like buying, she can deposit into it.. end of the month, i can pay out to her.. heh.. but i guess, the element of "gambling"/chances of winning big is more exciting.. ah well.. as long as she's happy.. :D
