Happy 48th Birthday, Malaysia!!

Today is M'sia Merdeka Day (Independence Day).. Happy Birthday!!

for the first time..

ken come to me and kiss me voluntarily! *yippee*.. he just called out, "mommy, mommy".. then he came to me and kiss me on my cheeks.. *beaming with joy*.. he must have sense how tired i am.. his kiss really perks me up!!

For the past 4 days, it was nursing marathon!! i think wenn is doing cluster feeding*.. he fed from 10am-1pm every hourly.. then 9pm-12midnite every hourly also.. i was like so which breast now? left or right? right or left? even jiggling to feel the fullness doesn't help cos both equally "deflated".. wah.. was so drained man.. and to think i've experience and yet i feel like on the verge of giving up!!! bfg is indeed hard work!! it only gets better later.. looking forward to that time..

and not only that, both ken and wenn needs me to put them to nap and to put them to sleep.. and while i settle wenn first, ken there will start to get crankier and start to cry like a baby, or shout or scream and thus will wake wenn up.. if i settle ken first, then bb cry will wake ken up.. i like one siao cha bor wishing i can clone myself.. or be an octopus by having 8 hands!.. how do ppl cope ah?? makes me feel so hopeless.. i guess i will wait one more week.. then i will intro bottle to wenn and can at least get my mom to help feed wenn during afternoon so, i can settle ken.. i only console myself.. all these will pass.. and later, i get to "enjoy" myself.. but for now, just hv to bear and grin and mabbe throw some temper.. poor EM always kena from my slashing tongue cos of my crankiness.. i need to vent out my frustrations.. who better than ur other half rite? as if i can scold my mom?? unheard of.. ha ha.. only my mom has the privilege of scolding all of us (the sibblings).. who dare to scold her back? perhaps only my bros! heh..

okie.. going to sleep now.. tmr is m'sia merdeka day.. my sis and family coming over to visit.. shd be fun for ken.. he badly needs company to drain his energy.. :D

* Cluster feeding, also called bunch feeding, is when babies space feeding closer together at certain times of the day and go longer between feedings at other times. This is very common, and often occurs in the evenings. It's often -but not always- followed by a longer sleep period than usual: baby may be "tanking up" before a long sleep. For example, your baby may nurse every hour (or even constantly) between 6 and 10 PM, then have a longish stretch of sleep at night - baby may even sleep all night.

Cluster feeding often coincides with your baby's fussy time. Baby will nurse a few minutes, pull off, fuss/cry, nurse a few minutes, pull off, fuss/cry... on and on... for hours. This can be VERY frustrating, and mom starts wondering if baby is getting enough milk, if something she is eating is bothering baby, if EVERYTHING she is doing is bothering baby... It can really ruin your confidence, particularly if there is someone else around asking the same questions (your mother, your husband, your mother-in-law).
