Hot Wheels Color Shifters

Bought this for Wenn last sat.. since on the box said "Water changes the color".. i've been letting the kids play in the bathroom with a cup of ice+water and cup of warm water running from the shower head.. of cos so mafan (troublesome) right.. so, when wenn asked me to get ice on the 2nd day (sunday), i told him, "later only play, now cannot".. and i put it off my mind.. thinking that next day it will be my maid's problem.. :P..

so when i got back, i asked my maid if they have requested for ice.. she told me, wenn just put his car into the fridge.. we were so surprised he thought of that..

sight words lessons with wenn..

I started teaching Wenn sight words on 15-May-2009.. he has been bugging me actually.. i finally decide to teach him.. look at our progress.. very encouraging indeed.. teaching wenn is fun, but also perhaps i have changed my strategy a little.. i teach him based on high frequency words first.. ie words that are more appearance in print.. compare to ken last time, i taught ken based on the book order..

i'm anal in that way.. i remembered when i do revision for my exams in school last time, i must start reading for Chapter 1.. so stupid right.. should only zoom to chapters that matter.. subconsciously i will feel that if i did not start from BAB SATU (chapter one), i cannot understand subsequent chapters.. *haiz*.. and then when the exam dates drew nearer, i will have so many more important chapters that i have not cover!.. i know it's a sickening behavior, but i just can't snap from it.. but i shall not use my methods on my kids.. i shall constantly remind myself but if i do fall back to my anal ways, please forgive me, my children.. afterall, i'm doing a great favor guiding you both.. i didn't have that luxury when i was small.. heh..

oh for first sight words, i'm using Scholastic's Sight Word Readers Parent Pack as shown below.. good books.. but like all readers, it's repetitive..
