seriously.. i was so deprived..

of late, mabbe i'm getting old, i have been thinking how lucky / fortunate my kids are.. i used to have only one small container of toys.. and that also were masak-masak toys.. passed me down some more.. some plastic plates and cups and teapot.. and when the plates broke into 2, i even scotch tape them.. some cousin dun want lego bricks.. and i inheritted them.. only like 60pcs 2x3 bricks.. and a teddy bear and a doll.. unbranded.. i even sew clothes for them.. those were all my toys that accompanied me thru my childhood!

but, my children.. countless transformers, lego, etc, etc.. they are so lucky.. but i remember my childhood fondly.. i love those imaginative friends i grew up with.. i love the time i spend all by myself.. ahh, precious moments.. i do hope my kids think of their childhood fondly.. regardless that i'm with them for only for their 3 waking hrs daily.. i love you both, ken & wenn..

generation gap..

Nokia E51 Non Camera - Nokia Eseries Without Camera for the security sensitive profesionals

EM had wanted to get this Nokia E51 Non Camera handphone.. and after my changed of job, I pass by M1 shop everyday after work.. so, what a dutiful wife gotta do?.. she went in the shop and enquired.. now, I do not understand what is hot about this handphone.. anyway, the M1 sales person refused to let me put my name down for the waiting list.. imagine.. refused wor.. but what a naggy wife gotta do?.. pleaded lor.. then reluctantly she added me despite on the paper it was written.. "NO MORE WAITING LIST for E51 NC".. heh.. then ytd, EM received sms that the stock has arrived.. and happily we went to collect..

And thanks to me, he gotta use my name to pay a lower price (saved $100) for it.. cos my plan is the more expensive type (got corporate discount).. so tell him what a appreciative and loving husband gotta do in return? heh.. mabbe a small contribution to my Biow Freedom Fund (BFF) or my current wish list?

Another DSLR convert - Canon EOS 400D / Digital Rebel XTi

My fren, Lara and I have been drooling over DSLR since early this year.. then i went ahead to purchase my Nikon D40 some time in Feb.. Then the past few weeks, she has been ding donging between Nikon and Canon.. one day she will ask, "should i go for Nikon D40 or Nikon D40X or Nikon D60?".. then almost instantly she will ask me, "How about Canon?".. (Canon EOS 350D / Digital Rebel XT or Canon EOS 400D / Digital Rebel XTi or Canon EOS 450D / Digital Rebel XSi).. though at that time both of us were clueless on the model number i think!.. cos after i got my Nikon D40, i was busy looking for lens.. (I bought Nikon AF-S 55-200mm VR Nikkor Lens and trade in a month later for Nikon AF-S 18-200mm VR Nikkor Lens, but these lenses are story for another day..).. and FINALLY, today she went MS Color to get her Canon EOS 400D / Digital Rebel XTi.. *yay*.. since she is such a private person, her blog shall remain anonymous.. heh.. so, Lara, will see more beautiful photos from you, OK?
